The evening invited audiences into a world where the ordinary became extraordinary. This dance‑theatre work used the vastness of outer space as a metaphor to explore distance, connection, and possibility, immersing audiences in a dazzling, multi‑sensory experience of bold movement, evocative text, and striking imagery. The program also featured a new solo for Artistic Director Dan Schuchart, crafted by guest artist Alexandra Barbier as part of her ongoing project few things ahead of time, in which a 48‑hour creative process yielded adventitious choices, inventive tactics, and unexpected outcomes. Performed at the beautiful Jan Serr Studio, the work unfolded against the Milwaukee skyline, which became a luminous backdrop for the evening.
