Gestures of the Image The Milwaukee Art Museum Join Wild Space Dance Company on May 3 for Gestures of the Image, an original performance in conjunction with Accidental Genius: Art from the Anthony Petullo Collection. Wild Space will present a series of intimate dance scenes inspired by the imaginative drawings and paintings of the collection. The performance will cycle several times to offer a complete experience for museum visitors on this special Target Free First Thursday. Gestures of the Image will mark the fifth collaboration between Wild Space and the Museum since 1996 (Off-Kilter, 1996; City Stories, 1998; Art Moves, 2002; Art of the Ordinary, 2005).
